101 in 1001 - update

It's been such a long time since I looked at this that I hadn't realised my time is up. Oops! And I haven't done very well at all... Oh well! I'm in the process of making a new list, hopefully more achievable as I won't find myself in the midst of a very difficult pregnancy followed by a very difficult birth and infancy of that child. At the time of making this list I really didn't believe we were ever going to succeed at having a baby, so there's a lot of travel on there that, once things changed, had zero chance of happening!

The Challenge:

Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:

Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).

Why 1001 Days?

Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple challenges such as New Year's resolutions or a 'Bucket List'. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.

Started: (28/101)

The problem here is that I had a very sudden and unexpected arrival of a baby – and the files I used to keep track of these goals were saved on my work PC, which I left one day and then didn’t see again for a year, by which time we’d had a system upgrade and a lot of my documents were vanished. So I have vague memories of doing some of these (for example, making the lists) but I have nothing to show for it.

2 See 10 classic movies I've never seen
12 List 50 favourite fictional characters
13 Make a list of 100 reasons I love my husband
14 Make a list of 100 books I would like to read
